Jacqui de Jong is a classically trained pianist with over sixteen years of formal study in Australia. She began training in early childhood and competed regularly in regional Eisteddfods, developing a disciplined technical foundation and a strong interpretive sensibility rooted in the Romantic repertoire.

Her current work centers on live classical performance and original composition. She recently composed and performed an original theme for a completed short film, extending her practice into film music and narrative storytelling through sound.
